DUE DILIGENCE

The whole data room read,
every finding sourced.

An agent reads every document, cross-checks them, investigates six themes and writes a sourced note with Casian’s opinion. When a new document arrives, the analysis updates.

What the
analyst gets.

The data room is imported from your computer: PDFs, scans, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CSV and call transcripts. The originals are never modified.

One note per document
Text, pages and tables are extracted with their location, then six readers write one note per document. The run stops if more than a quarter of the documents cannot be read.
Gaps between documents
The documents are cross-checked against each other. The gaps found set the investigation plan.
Six investigations
Six themes worked in parallel. Five can search the web; finance works from the data room only.
A note and an opinion
The investment note and Casian’s opinion: invest, invest with conditions, defer or pass.
Open questions
Casian looks for answers in the data room and on the web, then suggests up to ten new questions for the founders.
A final check
Document coverage, the log of checks and the corrections made to the note.

One agent,
a read-only data room.

The agent works in a sandbox where the data room is read-only. Each step starts from a fresh thread and writes its results to files that the next step reads.

When new documents arrive, the agent rereads only those, restores its saved state and updates the analysis. A section rewritten by an analyst is never overwritten by a later run.

The agent’s steps in Method

Your team stays in charge.

The agent prepares the work. The team checks the findings and sources, rewrites the sections it wants and puts the questions to the founders. Answers received are attached to the deal with their source.
