Who can access deals?
Permissions follow roles and vehicles. Documents use protected access within each member’s authorized scope. Your fund lead manages access. Organization separation and access removal have undergone technical testing.

Sources, permissions, and decision history are part of investment work. Here is how Casian structures them.

References connect findings to documents and external sources. Memos retain versions and opinions refer to an identified revision. A citation supports review; it does not guarantee accuracy.
Casian builds each task’s context from authorized documents and the vehicle thesis, without automatically training models on your deals. Vercel hosts the website; the software infrastructure uses Oracle Cloud in Paris and Supabase for the database and access. AI provider terms and processing regions are specified with the fund before importing its deals.
Memos export to PDF and Word. Fund data export and deletion procedures are documented. Exit and retention terms are agreed upfront. Backups follow a separate retention cycle, so deletion from the active workspace is not instantaneous deletion of every backup.
Configuration, onboarding, and regular check-ins are part of the pilot. Support scope and restoration procedures are agreed with the fund. We do not claim 24/7 support or SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification.
We review access, providers, retention, backups, and exit terms together. An encrypted backup and restore procedure has been tested. The contract and data processing agreement define the commitments applicable to your fund.
